2014 Challenge

LRNG was founded in 2014 by The Show Me Campaign, in partnership with the National Writing Project and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. LRNG Innovators is a movement that’s rethinking and reshaping the learning process into one that’s more relevant to the students of today, and better prepares them for the world of tomorrow. Each year, LRNG issues a new challenge to educators asking, “What innovations or solutions would you bring to the learning process around this issue?”

In 2015 LRNG awarded 14 grants in 10 states across the country to educators who were asked to solve the challenge of limited time and space for creative learning.
